Who we are

We are Omniversail (operating as Omniversail Language Center), a multilingual learning and exam-preparation platform covering 150+ languages and 15 academic subjects, built on the FSI/DLI method of intensive listening, pattern drills, free production and adaptive spaced review. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect information when you visit omniversail.com, create an account, use our courses, drills, books, assessments or concierge services, or sign in with a third-party provider.

Information we collect

Account & profile data. When you register, we collect your name, email address, chosen password (hashed), and optional profile details such as native language, target languages, proficiency level and learning goals.

Learning activity. We store your course enrollments, drill results, quiz and assessment scores, study streaks, spaced-repetition scheduling data, notes, bookmarks and progress so the platform can adapt to you and let you resume across devices.

Payment & billing data. If you purchase a plan, book or assessment, we collect billing details, order history and tax information. Card numbers are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor (for example PayPal or Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.

Third-party sign-in data. If you choose Google Sign-In, we receive your Google account's basic profile fields (such as your name, email address and profile picture) as permitted by your Google account settings, solely to create or authenticate your Omniversail account. See Google APIs & Limited Use below.

Support & communications. Messages you send us, survey responses and preferences for product or transactional emails.

Device & usage data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referrer and approximate location, collected via standard server logs and first-party analytics to operate and improve the service.

Cookies & similar technologies. See Cookies.

How we use information

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

In the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, with notice to you.

Google APIs & Limited Use disclosure

Google API Services User Data Policy compliance

Omniversail uses Google Sign-In (the Google OAuth 2.0 API) only to let you create an account or log in. We request the minimum Google user data necessary — your name, email address and profile picture — and we use that data only for authentication and to pre-fill your Omniversail profile.

Limited Use. We do not use Google API data for any purpose other than sign-in and account authentication. We do not sell, transfer, or otherwise provide Google user data to third parties except to the service providers strictly necessary to operate sign-in, and as required by law. We do not use Google API data for advertising. We store only the identifiers needed to keep you logged in, and we delete Google-derived data on account deletion.

No AI-generated intimate imagery. Omniversail does not use Google APIs — or any other API or service — to generate, train on, or process Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII) or any intimate imagery of any kind. Our platform creates language-learning content only; it contains no image-generation capability. Any Google user data we receive is never used to create, modify or infer imagery.

Data retention

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Payment records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required, and within 30 days of a verified account-deletion request, except where we must retain limited data to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. In the European Economic Area and United Kingdom these are your GDPR rights; in California these are your CCPA rights. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within the timeframes required by law and do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the site, and first-party analytics cookies to understand usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser; essential cookies are required for the service to function.

Children's privacy

Omniversail is intended for learners of all ages, including K-12, but accounts for children are created and supervised by a parent or school. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child except as provided by a parent, guardian or educational institution, and we comply with applicable children's privacy laws.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and promptly address any incident.

Terms of Service (summary)
